Boutros Bubba

It’s fair to say this band from Deventer and Leiden are a rather odd bunch. Their music creates a weird link between the most sluggish form of math rock and raucous rock-'n-roll, emphasizing bizarre tempo changes and chord progressions. Boutros Bubba's music is like riding a bumpy road with sturdy surface and treacherous, slippery patches. At certain points the heavy drumming and tight guitar riffs give way to jumbling drunk segments and suspenseful improvisation.
