Brasstronaut are something very unique, even though their name might suggest you’re dealing with some corny brass/funk/jazz band. The band bases their music around very catchy experimental pop songs, but add walls of noise with some unorthodox instruments like horns and the AKAI EWI. What comes out is a very innovative take on pop music, sometimes cinematic with a little retro touch and textured jazz influenced drum parts. Blame it on us if you won’t leave the venue still humming their songs.
