Arcana Coelestia ("The Heavenly Mysteries") is a new composition for virginals and lute by Mathieu and Van Wissem, both of them innovators in the field of cutting edge music performed on early instruments.
Mathieu's spectral string work has been heard in 2011 in collaborations with Tashi Wada, Sylvain Chauveau and most recently with David Sylvian, Van Wissem has just released a critically acclaimed album with Jim Jarmush.
