Incubate is the annual celebration of independent culture in Tilburg, the Netherlands. It is a festival exhibiting a diverse view on indie culture as a whole, including music, contemporary dance, film and visual arts. It brings more than 200 cutting edge artists in an intimate context to an international audience. Black metal next to free jazz. Refreshing art next to inspiring debate.

The hangout of the Incubate crew and probably the most popular bar in the alternative music scene of Tilburg. Cul de Sac provides a stage for upcoming bands, organizes jam sessions and has regular multidisciplinary culture nights.

On weekdays Cul de Sac is a good bar to chill out. You can play some table football, shoot some pool and of course listen to some good music. The living room of the Tilburg musicians it’s also called. On weekends Cul de Sac is a vibrant alternative club where you can dance until late at night. Although Cul de Sac’s main musical focus is on current alternative guitar pop, all styles of music can be heard here. And for the smokers among us: yes, you can still enjoy your cigarette here!
