Incubate is the annual celebration of independent culture in Tilburg, the Netherlands. It is a festival exhibiting a diverse view on indie culture as a whole, including music, contemporary dance, film and visual arts. If the term ‘funeral folk’ rings a bell, you know what to expect: Belgian electronic sound experiments that most of the time result in sonic mayhem. Edgar plays in Sylvester Anfang II as well, but his solo outlet varies from lo-fi folk songs to tape/drone improvisations, and organ sounds with retarded pop songs à la Ariel Pink.
