Incubate is the annual celebration of independent culture in Tilburg, the Netherlands. It is a festival exhibiting a diverse view on indie culture as a whole, including music, contemporary dance, film and visual arts. Great dark melodramatic folk band featuring members of Of The Wand and the Moon and Death in June. More than concerts, Die Weisse Rose's performances should be seen and celebrated as elaborate rituals, where elements such as uniforms, burning torches, snippets of old schlägers, segments from documentary films and philosophical proclamations are carefully wowen together by orgies of eletronic sounds, violins and accordion and drum beating like a military parade gone terrible astray.
