Incubate is the annual celebration of independent culture in Tilburg, the Netherlands. It is a festival exhibiting a diverse view on indie culture as a whole, including music, contemporary dance, film and visual arts. A unique collaboration between three giants of improvised jazz. Bram Stadhouders is a young atmospherotronic guitarist whose electronic music is introverted, sometimes alienating and certainly intrusive. He already played with Jim Black, who is known for his versatile style of drumming, varying loud drumming with subtle percussion. Vocalist Sidsel Endresen has been a convincing voice in all musical genres she has touched since the eighties, from avant-garde to soul.
